Hey everyone,
This is just a quick post to update you on some of the things I've been working on lately.
First of all, I haven't had a chance to post much over the past couple of weeks. I've had a whole lot of work that required me to make that a priority and push the tutorials to the second rank. This is not ideal to me, so please know that I am still working on more tutorials, they'll just take longer to come out, as I'm working full-time on other projects for the next few months.
I'm currently editing a new tutorial that will hopefully come out next Thursday (18th June).
I'm sorry I haven't been able to make YouTube come first like I plan to. Making YouTube tutorials and teaching aspiring artists cool tips and tricks is a passion of mine, and will never go away, so rest assured I'm not going anywhere anytime soon!
The second bit of news I want to talk about is that my tutorial "Remove Backgrounds in ONE click (Photoshop CC 2020 Tutorial)" has just reached the BIG MILESTONE of over 10,000 views!!!
(real footage of me celebrating)
Now, don't see this as a typical YouTube-related vanity metric, but rather a proof of concept for my channel. My goal is to teach you all industry-level tips and tricks to make YOU a better creative editor (photographer, videographer, designer, etc.) So when I look at this milestone, I don't necessarily see "10,000 views". I see over 10,000 people who had a problem, watched my video and solved this problem.
I helped over TEN THOUSAND people with ONE video! 🤯🤯🤯 When you think about it, how mad is that!
To most people who are used to channels getting millions of views, this might seem like a ridiculously low number, but to me, that's worth everything. And it's definitely one of the things that will always keep me going.
Finally, I've been working on some new merch designs, some new giveaways and some new "big picture" ideas, which I'll try to implement and release as soon as I can. (Depending on how quick I can get it all perfect and ready) So massive thanks to all of you for being there, for being a part of this amazing community of creative editors and for your support.
I've had a lot of great feedback on my Lightroom Presets lately. You guys seem to dig them so I'll be sure to make more.
In the meantime, if you'd like to support my channel and my work, you can always check out my merch store, become a premium member, or use any of my affiliate links (at no extra cost to you).
Until next time, peace! ✌🏼
